Bag is packed, everything’s ready. Still feelin’ like crap, nervous about my classes.
See you whenever I get home tomorrow tumblr.
<3 you all.

super cute n cool ; )
have good classes and all!

^^  Agreed!  I live vicariously through COTM as he’s the youngest gay bear I know of who’s very comfortable with himself.  In truth, he’s my hero.
Enjoy school and absorb everything you can and remember to always challenge your instructors/peers.  Don’t always believe in everything they say but always be open to different points of viewpoints.  Knock ‘em dead with your smarts and dashing good looks.  ^_______^

Please don’t listen to anything he just said. Never challenge your instructors. Accept what they say as truth, you’ll get a better grade in the end, trust me, and this will be way more important than any personal growth you might achieve by having independent thoughts. It will get you into law school. Or dentistry. Or that MFA in creative writing and then, then, you can play around with this whole independent thinking thing (not nearly as fun as it’s made out to be) and save everyone in your sophomore level class the headache of real debate and discussion.
This is how I am going to open the first lecture of my semester from now on.

You will seriously lecture your students this?  Why even bother going to school, especially in a college-level environment, if you will just absorb everything that’s thrown to you without filtering them?  Grade school and high school is the place where you do that, not in a university.  You really believe that your students in a university (who are in their late teens/early twenties) would even think highly of you for telling them that they need to suck it up and just be a mindless drone?  COTM is a bright and creative kid and he can get the “good grades” either by seducing/playing mind games with his instructors.  You don’t have to compromise your independent thinking just so you can get a “good grade.”  There are always ways, and one of them is not being a passive sponge.
In the end though, this is all too meta as I did give advice to challenge instructors AND peers.

Lol. I think - specially at the university! - that you gotta have your own way of thinking about stuff and not take everything someone says as the universal truth. C’mon, some teachers are actually shit and if you follow shit you just get… that. Lol. Learning is not about listening, taking notes, etc. etc. of ALL someone says, take it for granted and repeating it to get a good grade… That leads to nothing IMHO… Only boredom and kind of disliking it all - personal experience. Haha -. Just found a FEW good teachers that actually motivated you to do stuff and not be writing all they said on some sheets of paper, then memorizing it… Etc.
In fact, MANY of the biggest *GENIUS-ES* out there didn’t even finish their studies at university and are successful at what they do… Why did they quit? Cause it was boring and not challenging at all… You can learn much more on your own - at some stuff… of course. Medicine not, for example. Lol - if you really love some subject and go studying, experimenting, etc. on your own than attending any lessons or stuff and getting a grade. If you have talent no grade’s necessary for sure ; )
All this just to say I found university to be a BIG WASTE OF TIME - learning-wise at least - cause I expected much more… Learned much more on my own than there, although it gave me a liiiiittle base to go on from, of course. Computer Science here. LOL.
Anyway, giving your opinion and stuff to teachers or offering some kind of challenge shouldn’t mean any kind of offense or stuff for them. That should be the normal thing if they are not big headed cocks or something - that can happen quite often, tho! Lol.
My 2 - and LONG - cents.
